On Wednesday, the 5th of November, the First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Oleksandr Lavrynovych has held the meeting with the Leader of Libyan Jamahiriya - Muammar al-Gaddaf in the course of the official visit of Libyan leader to Ukraine.
O. Lavrynovych has high evaluated the negotiations that were held "tête-à-tête". The relations between two countries and their economic, cultural and humanitarian components were discussed. They are, in particular, the deepening of cooperation in the fields of oil extraction aircraft building and agro-industrial sphere.
Also, high-ranking official have discussed the issues on the state management system in Libya reformation. The prior place here was dedicated by the First Vice-Chairman to the corruption control.
Moreover, O. Lavrynovych stressed upon the interest in the experience of Libyan country that endeavour to risen the rate of life of its citizens, and as a consequence the salary and the rate of life are constantly increasing.
O. Lavrynovych has highly evaluated the state reformation of the legal frame that is conducted to guarantee and provide the supremacy of law. He declared that it is important for all the countries leaders as it influence, to some extend, the state and feelings of people, their confidence in future.
The importance of intensification of interparliamentary dialogue between Ukraine and Libyan Jamahiriya was stressed upon in the course of the meeting. O. Lavrynovych expressed pity that this segment in the Ukrainian and Libyan relations is not so successful as other components of Ukrainian and Libyan cooperation yet, because of some (objective) problems in Ukrainian Parliament. "Solution of the Problems in Ukrainian Parliament will make the Intensification of the Ukrainian and Libyan Interparliamentary Cooperation possible", - O. Lvrynovych stressed.
Muammar al-Gaddaf, in his turn, declared that the interpalriamentary relations are very important and that Libyan Party is ready for the cooperation. The Leader of Libyan Jamahiriya has invited O. Lavrynovych to visit Libya with the official visit.
